Claire Lewis is currently Marketing Manager at iTunes, the world’s number one music store. Her professional career began in 2004 when she joined the Creative Partnerships team at MTV as a Project Manager working across high profile accounts such as Motorola, Adidas and McDonalds. She also gained experience attending the prestigious MTV Europe Music Awards in Lisbon and Copenhagen. Seeing that the future of the music industry lay in digital retail, Claire sought a role at EMI Music in National Accounts, tasked with selling and promoting frontline releases including Coldplay, to iTunes who subsequently asked her to join their team. Now in her third year at iTunes Europe, Claire has gained experience across the content and marketing teams working in Germany and France and now focuses specifically on label and partner marketing for UK & Ireland.
A keen sportswoman, she has represented club, county and country at football, tennis, netball, lacrosse and athletics. She was appointed an FA Ambassador for Women and Girls football in 2008, following her involvement in their 2006 Get Into Football campaign. She is a regular player at Hampstead WFC and a Level 2 coach at Hampstead Girls having previously managed a men’s Sunday league team and led them to consecutive promotions.
Claire fell in love with a ''man's game'' at the age of four and strives to inspire more girls to pull on their kit each week and race around a muddy pitch. With such an inspiring timetable of sporting events over the next few years, she is delighted to join the WSFF Board.
