Jo Gibbons

Jo is a communications and PR specialist who has worked in both the private and public sector. She started her career working in the voluntary sector for various charities before going to a trade union and then to the Labour Party in the run up to the 1997 election. She spent a year at the FA working on the 2006 World Cup bid before moving into Government as Special Adviser for a senior Cabinet Minister.

After the 2001 election she spent two years running the Corporate and Public Affairs Department for a large PR company with multi-national clients. She was promoted to the Board after which she came back to Government and worked as Director of Events, Visits and Scheduling for the Prime Minister.

She is currently Director of Corporate Affairs in the Office of Tony Blair. Jo is a Spurs season ticket holder and keen athletics fan.
