Fiona Ross

Fiona comes to the WSFF through experience as a Board member in a small not-for-profit organisation in New Zealand (The Help Foundation) and working in the centre of government for over 15 years. Fiona is a New Zealander who came to London in 2002 after a career in the New Zealand civil service working on health, education and women’s policies.

Fiona now works in the Office of Government Commerce as a senior civil servant leading change within government to become more sustainable, looking at how to ‘green’ the government’s estates and performance practice.

Fiona has been playing netball since she was a young girl and enjoys the friendships and challenges it brings.  Sport has even helped her move countries and find new friends. Fiona also plans to move into coaching in the future, to help others enjoy the sport as much as she has.
