There are arguably far more chances of effective and comprehensive media coverage via the newspapers, radio and television stations in you local area. They are often more receptive to specific stories and will be more willing to develop an on going relationship with you.
You know your local area best and most of the details for you local media can be found via telephone directories, libraries or other local resources. In addition, with some research via the Internet you can easily develop your own list of media contacts. See our 'Getting started' page for some useful websites to start you off. Unfortunately the WSFF does not currently have the resources to offer individual advice.
The WSFF also has a network of regional groups that campaign for women's and girls' sport across the UK.
