Fit for Girls is a national programme aimed at encouraging schoolgirls aged 11-16 years to adopt more active lifestyles. The programme is funded through the Scottish Government and sportscotland, in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust.
We are looking for a Development Manager who will take responsibility for leading the implementation of this programme in local authorities across Scotland.
Ideally educated to degree level, you must be able to demonstrate significant project management experience and have experience of developing and implementing customer focused strategies. You will have theoretical knowledge of gender equality issues or have gained experience in a similar work related environment. The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships is an essential element of this post as you will be working closely with a variety of external partners.
