Squash and racquetball participation overview
Squash is played by around 38,800 women at least once a week and is the 3rd most popular racquet sport for female participation.
There has been no significant change in participation between 2008-09 and 2009-10.
Unlike other racquet sports, which have relatively even gender splits, squash has five times as many male players as female players who play squash at least once every four weeks.
