Honorary Treasurer

Main Responsibilities:

• to oversee and present budgets, internal management accounts and annual financial statements to the Board of Trustees.
• to ensure that proper accounting records are kept and financial resources are controlled, economically spent and properly invested.
• to lead in the development and implementation of financial policies and cost-management.

Person Specification:

• Hold professional accounting qualification, preferably with experience of charity finance and accounting;
• Skills and expertise in budgeting and strategic financial planning (desirable).

This is a voluntary position with paid expenses and an expectation of attending six board meetings a year in London.
