Fiona Ross

Fiona comes to the WSFF through experience as a Board member in a small not-for-profit organisation in New Zealand (The Help Foundation) and working in the centre of government for over 15 years. Fiona is a New Zealander who came to London 6 years ago after a career in the New Zealand civil service working on health, education and women’s policies.

During her time in the UK Fiona has worked in the Treasury on the government’s efficiency programme and supporting improvements to the performance management of departments. This was followed by nearly two years in Defra supporting a cultural change programme.

Fiona now works in the Office of Government Commerce as a senior civil servant leading change within government to become more sustainable, looking at how to ‘green’ the government’s estates and performance practice.

Fiona has post graduate degrees in History and Art History and in Public Policy. She is an avid fan of netball and loves to cycle around London.
